Ralph was a graduate of Fox Tech High School and proud member of the Reserve Officers Training Corp. It was there where he completed a 6-year military obligation with the United States Army Reserve Program. His duty would take him to Fort Chaffee, Arkansas and Fort Belvoir, Virginia. Ralph completed his service at Fort Sam Houston in San Antonio, Texas.
He started working part time for Mayan Order offices, which later became a printing company, while attending high school. Ralph was later offered a position where he became President of Operations. They were one of the original printing companies which printed Catholic missalettes for churches in San Antonio and abroad.
Ralph was an avid athlete throughout his life playing just about every sport. Coming from a baseball family, he played Little League baseball in the Pan American Little League. He then went on to play Pony League with an Army Co-Op at Dudley Field. Ralph’s outstanding talents on the ball field pushed him onward to play amateur baseball for Farmers Club in the Spanish American Amateur Baseball League here in San Antonio. Later his sports talent led to a love of bowling. The love of the game led Ralph to compete in numerous invitational bowling tournaments all over the country. This resulted in him becoming a Semi-Pro.
Ralph was greatly loved for his dedication to Faith, Life, Sports, but most important – his Family. He was an amazing Husband, Father, Grandfather, godfather, uncle, brother and friend. Rest in heaven…we will miss you always.
