Ralph R Villanueva Jr.

He is proceeded in death by his loving wife Mary Luis Villanueva; parents Rafael and Luz R. Villanueva; brothers Juan and Gilbert Villanueva; sister Rachel, Gonzalez; daughter-in-law Silvia B. Villanueva; and grandson Joshua M. Palma.

He was a devoted, father, brother, grandfather and brother-in-law always there to offer guidance and love. He cherished family gatherings, and his presence at holidays and celebration, brought warm and joy to those around. He enjoyed listening to music and love to dance. He was a printer by trade and enjoy playing softball. He was also known for his warm smile, his love for his family and friend's and kind heart.

He survived by his children Dora Elia Villanueva and Luis Villanueva, grandchildren Myranda B. Palma, Valerie Compeon and David Compeon JR; great grandchildren Aydrick Compeon and Aysiah Towels; sisters Lupe V. Martínez and Eva V. Vasquez, as well as many nieces and nephews and friends will miss him dearly.

A visitation for Ralph will be held on Monday, April 28, 2025 from 2:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Sunset Northwest Funeral Home, 6321 Bandera Road, San Antonio, TX 78238, with a rosary will be recited being recited at 7:00 PM the same day. A funeral mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, April 29, 2025 at 10:00 AM at St. Dominic Catholic Church, 5919 Ingram Rd, San Antonio, TX 78228. We will depart from St. Dominic for a committal service at 11:45 AM at Mission Park Funeral Chapels and Cemetery Dominion, 20900 I-10, San Antonio, TX 78257.
