Ramon Porto Baca born on August 31, 1937 was called to be with our Lord on October 17, 2015 at the age of 78. He is preceded in death by his son, Joe Eguia and brother, Faustino Barca. He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Cointa L. Baca; children, Blanca McCallum (Scott) and Johnny Eguia (Dirce); grandchildren; Robert Eguia, Greg Morris, Jessica Eguia, Stephanie Jackson, Tommy Bridges, Joey Bridges, Paul Eguia, Roxanne Eguia and Crystal Barrientes; 6 great grandchildren; sisters, Angela Barco, Guadalupe Castillo and Manuela Rangel; also, numerous nieces and nephews. A visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Thursday, October 22, 2015 at Trevino Funeral Home, 2525 Palo Alto Road, with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. that same evening. A Funeral Procession will depart from the funeral home on Friday, October 23, 2015 at 9:30 a.m. for a 10:00 a.m. Mass of the Resurrection at St. Leonard’s Catholic Church. Interment will follow in San Fernando Cemetery No II.
