

Randall S. “Randy” Ridinger, 47, passed away on Wednesday, May 14, 2014. He was born in San Antonio on July 28, 1966, to Roy and Rebecca Ridinger Jr. Randy was a 1984 graduate of Robert E. Lee High School, a Master Black Belt in Karate, and a Sensei/Instructor at the Professional Karate Institute. He had a passion for web design and used his skills and talents to assist many companies and people with web-based communications. Randy was also active in the music scene in San Antonio, helping promote many bands and musicians. He was a friend and mentor to countless people, all of whom transcended friendship to become his brothers- and sisters-in-arms. He also had a love of animals, including his faithful four-legged companion, Agape.
He was preceded in death by his father Roy Ridinger Jr. He leaves behind his mother, Rebecca Ridinger; sister, Cynthia Schuetz and husband John, brothers, William L. Davenport, Roy H. Ridinger III and wife Deborah, Robert J. Ridinger; nieces and nephews, Ryan Buchmeier and wife Courtney, Shannon Davenport, Rachel Ridinger, Aaron Ridinger, Rheanna Ridinger, and Andrew Ridinger.
Visitation will be held Sunday, May 18, 2014, from 5:00 – 8:00 P.M. at Sunset Funeral Home, 1701 Austin Hwy. The funeral service will be held Monday, May 19, 2014, at 3:00 P.M. at the funeral home with Pastor Will Davis officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park.
