Ralph, as he was affectionately known, was a shining light in the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing him. His journey on this earth was one marked by love and laughter. His passing has left a void in the hearts of his family, friends, and many more whose lives were touched by him. We ask that you remember him not for the way his life ended, but for the way it was lived, and for the profound impact it had on the lives of those who had the pleasure of knowing him.
Ralph was preceded in death by his brothers Sonny, Eddie, Louie, and sister Diana Oehler and his parents Carlos and Catalina Alvarado.
Ralph is survived by his loving wife Sylvia Alvarado, brothers Leo, Richard, and Billy Alvarado and sister Anna Maria Moore, his children Raul Alvarado Jr. ( wife - Patricia), Diana Castillejo (husband - David), Norma Rutherford (husband - Joe), and stepson Jerry B, Jaimes (wife - Monica). He also leaves behind nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
He was a graduate of Fox Tech High School. Outside of his work life, Ralph enjoyed playing golf and watching his favorite football teams, the Dallas Cowboys and Houston Texans, and reading the newspaper with a cup of coffee.
Those who knew Ralph will remember him for his infectious and boisterous laughter. His gift for storytelling left a lasting impact on all who crossed his path.
Although Ralph's physical presence may no longer grace our lives, his spirit will continue to inspire and uplift us. May his memory be a blessing, and may we carry forth his legacy of laughter and storytelling in all that we do.
