Raul Perez

Raul Perez, age 75, passed away August 20, 2014 in San Antonio, Texas. He was born on February 8, 1939 in San Antonio, Texas to Ramon and Francisca Perez. Preceded in death by wife of 42 years Beatrice Escobar Perez and Brother Roberto G. Perez. He is survived by his son, George Ramon Perez; brother, Rafael Perez; nephews, Steven C. Perez, Carlos E. Mendoza Sr., Richard E. Mendoza, Robert G. Perez Jr., Frank E. Mendoza III, Gabriel R. Espinoza, Gilbert R. Espinoza; nieces, Becky Robinson, Sophia M. Ramon, Frances E. Gomez, Georgina Jane Escobar Ramos, Cindy Hernandez, Rachel Cox, Diane Sanchez and Arlene Vielma; great-nephew, Brandon I. Ramon and numerous other great nephews and nieces. Visitation will be at Sunset Northwest Funeral Home, 6321 Bandera Road on Wednesday, August 27, 2014 from 6:00 P.M to 9:00 P.M. with a rosary at 7:00 P.M. A funeral mass will be celebrated at 9:30 A.M. Thursday, August 28, 2014 at Prince of Peace Catholic Church, 7893 N. Grissom Rd 78251 with Rev. Msgr. Joe Wagner officiating. Interment will follow at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery with U.S. Army honors.
