Raul F. Yanez

Raul F. Yanez, born May 25, 1932 passed away March 28, 2014 at the age of 81. He is preceded in death by his parents, Jose and Alejandra Yanez; daughter, Estella Yanez; sisters, Soila Yanez Salas and Yolanda Yanez Guerra; brothers, Pete F. Yanez, Raymond F. Yanez and Tony F. Yanez. He is survived by his daughter Cynthia McDonald, numerous grandchildren, sister Pauline Y Gonzales (Manuel), brothers Joe F. Yanez (Alice), Daniel F Yanez (Rachel), Alfred F. Yanez (Francis), numerous nieces, nephews and friends. He is served his country for 24 years in the US Army serving in Korea, Germany and Vietnam. A visitation will begin, Thursday, April 3, 2014, 5:00 p.m. at Trevino Funeral Home, 226 Cupples Rd. with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. that same evening. A funeral procession will depart the funeral home, Friday, April 4, 2014 at 8:45 a.m. for a 9:30 a.m. Mass to be celebrated at St. Henry Catholic Church with interment to follow in Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery.
