Mr. Raymond Cadena, of San Antonio, Texas passed away November 6, 2013, at the age of 86. He was born in Lockhart, Texas to Jose and Genavive Cadena. Mr. Cadena proudly served in the U.S. Air Force and was a veteran of World War II. He retired as a steel worker with over 43 years of service. Mr. Cadena is survived by his children, Jane Cadena, Eddie Cadena, ( ), Linda Cadena, Rosie Hullette, Raymond Cadena, Jr., Victor Vasquez (Cadena), Alice Baker, Jessica Osuna, Sylvia Rodriguez, Carmen Rodriguez, and Billy Rodriguez; sister, Fidencia Cadena; and nephew, Lonesome Cadena Dove. He was preceded in death by his wife, Maria E. Cadena; parents, and siblings, Romona, Theresa, Severa and Ben Cadena. A visitation will be held from 5:00-9:00 p.m., Monday, November 11, 2013, at Trevino Funeral Home, 226 Cupples Rd. in San Antonio. Funeral services will be held 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, November 12, 2013, in the Trevino Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at San Fernando Cemetery #2.
