Raymond B. Mendiola

Raymond B. Mendiola, age 89, passed away on Saturday, September 21, 2019 in San Antonio, TX. He was born June 20, 1930 in San Antonio to parents Santos Mendiola and Maria Bernal Mendiola. He was a devout Catholic and long time parishioner of Christ the King Church where he previously served as the President of the Holy Name Society, president of the church Parish Council and president of the church festival committee. He was also a lecture, communion distributor, usher and an integral part of the Rosary ministry.

Raymond was preceded in death by his loving wife of 56 years Juanita V Mendiola; son Luis V Mendiola; brothers Erasmo Mendiola, Juan Mendiola and Santos Mendiola; sisters Irene Quiroz and Chavela Machado. He is survived by son Raymond Mendiola Jr and wife Patricia Mendiola; daughter-in-law Alice Mendiola; son Victor R Mendiola and wife Leticia Mendiola; grandchildren Aaron Mendiola, Veronica Mendiola, Louie Mendiola Jr, Robert Mendiola, Victor Mendiola Jr, Christina Pantoja, Michael Mendiola, Gabriel Mendiola, Jason Mendiola, Kalani Mendiola, Matthew Mendiola, Eighteen Great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren and many loving nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 5 pm to 6 pm on Sunday September 29, 2019 at Porter Loring.
