Raymond Tschetter was my Dad. All my life I have struggled with father figures, but he showed me there is such a thing as a good man. when I was living with him I struggled with a lot and in the end i hurt them more than i helped them.I blamed god for losing the one thing i had at a chance of hope but more recently i have been in the path of finding God in a world so challenging. so finally years later I am here to say I know I will see him again. And the hurt will be no more. I love you Dad with all my heart

Dad was a wonderful man. He may not be my blood father, but he will always be my dad. He use to call me his beautiful child. I miss his laugh and all of his jokes but what i miss most is hearing him tell us girls " you go girl" ... He always knew how to cheer me up on my darkest days. I think about you dad every morning when i wake up ,  and every night before i go to sleep. I miss doing projects with you and riding with you every where you went... Even if it was to home depot. Every moment with you was amazing. You'll always remain in our hearts and live through all of our memories and stories. I love you dad, forever and always.

Uncle Ray had a kind and gentle soul. He was always cheerful and loving to everyone he met. We may not have been family by blood, but we were family by love. He would call of us beautiful and he would call the guys handsome and to show that no matter what we are all beautiful people! He loved his family so much. He took in foster kiddos and loved them as his own, showed them love and responsibility with my Aunt. He would always make you laugh out of pure fun or to cheer us up. He really was one of a kind goofball of a man that loved with all his heart. Thank you for your services when you were younger. Love you

Ray is our son in law. We love him and we will miss him. He loved life and had  a warm smile for everyone. Especially children and old people. Our 1st meeting was at our home in Ft Smith ,Arkansas . My brother’s in law  Herman Spears and Buddy Webster saw the way Ray had fell in love with Sheila. We were playing games at the kitchen table. Everyone got quiet when Shelia and Ray left on their date. Her uncles said : well that’s the one who’s gonna marry our girl. I said, no he is her best friends step brother. They both said : Well our money is on that northern boy.. Bet we  can make him disappear,  They were teasing me and Troy. Then they said : No, it  Would take away our Sheila’s happiness.  We loved Ray and are grateful that he came into our lives. He was a big part of our lives. Loved our daughter, and their 3 children. The grand children. This past couple of weeks our son and his family expressed there love for Ray and Sheila. Our children and grandchildren all said how much they were going to miss their Uncle Ray. We love you Raymond Lee Tschetter. God be with you til we meet again. Love you , Troy and Jotalee  Spears and all of our families. Many tears have been She’d for you. We will miss you.

I have many great memories of Raymond Lee. I remember the time he bought a big bag of gummy worms that he left in his car on a hot summer day. When he went to get them out of the car, they had melted into a solid blob. He said he wasn’t going to waste his money and ate the blob anyway. I also remember when he and I went to Van Buren to see our sister, Jeanette. He drove all crazy making his car weave back and forth. He told me not to tell on him to dad. He was just messing around. When we got back home, I made a big mistake. Instead of pulling straight in to the driveway like he usually did, he pulled the car to the left as I grabbed the door handle.  My shoe caught the edge of the floor as I fell out of the car onto the gravel driveway. I know he felt badly about it, but it was completely my fault. He was a good brother. He always had a kind word and a hug ready for me. He was a clown, a hot mess, and a loving soul. He is missed so much already. I will always love you B-U-T-T-O-N.

Dad always cared about his girls never judged them but always gave his honest opinion and always protected mom he was always smiling and bringing happiness to our hearts we will always love him

I will remember Ray as always joking around. I will remember how much he loved you Sheila and all of your many children. He was a good friend. Even though we haven’t seen each other in a long time I know it would have been just like seeing him yesterday. What a great guy. Love you Ray. God bless you Sheila. Love you bunches.

Tschetter, Frederick, Rader, Osburn and Simpson Families

Ray was my brother and there are several memories. One was keeping me out of trouble for being out past curfew. I always knew where he was and he would leave wherever he was to get me home. Also the night he took me out for a drive to watch the lunar eclipse. I had just had my wisdom teeth cut out, he might not have wanted to do it but he knew I wanted to. Funniest part that night was getting pulled over by a police officer. Love you Ray and will miss you a lot.

I shared the news with my son and he stopped looked at me and said “NO NOT the magician” the first time he met Raymond, Raymond told him that he was a magician and showed him so many tricks.... so every time we went to go visit Shelia and Raymond he had to come with me because he had to go see how many more new tricks Raymond had to show him.... he’s definitely going to be missed

Ray was the most loving husband, father, papi, foster parent and giver. He was always happy and wanted his family to be happy and to feel loved and wanted. He loved every child as if they were his own, whether they wanted him to or not, that love was there. Memories, there are to many as we lived life and loved it in good times and in bad, when money was flowing or when the wells were dried up and we watched bags of fruit drop from a truck and it was the sweetest ever. Whether he was deployed for months to a year or under my feet, our life was filled with mischief, rowdiness, and lots of love. I will forever miss his arms holding me everywhere at home, at church, on dates, and especially the I Love You*s and Kiss Me Goodnights!

Mr. T!  That’s how we all addressed him.   He was part of my 5am workout crew. He was very loyal and committed to his workouts. Everyday I looked around, there he was in the back left corner making jokes and talking about his old man knees.  He was very much a highlight to my day. He was very generous and respectful. When our gym closed and relocated, here was one of the members I missed the most. He will forever have a place in my heart.   My condolences to his wife and family.
