Reba Sanderson Walton

Reba S. Walton's sweet spirit and loving soul passed forward to a home of happiness and physical freedom on July 2, 2015 at age 82. She was a long time resident of San Antonio and recently resided in Overland Park, Kansas. Reba, our mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend will be remembered for her sweet southern charm, great chocolate chip cookies, her gratitude, quick wit and kind heart. To know her was to love her. She was born in Capshaw, Alabama the 7th of 9 children. She attended business college and worked periodically in banking or as a church secretary. But her best occupation was that of a loving mother and wife of 55 years to her Bob. She took pride in her later years that she was a "retired household executive". Reba was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Walton; and her 8 brothers and sisters. She is survived by her son, Joe Walton and wife Priscilla; daughter, Joyce Householder and husband Jon of Stilwell, Kansas. Grandchildren: Cory Householder, Sara Scoggins and husband Jason, Jessica Householder, Brian Walton, Christopher and Lindsey Walton. Great grandchildren: Maddox, Micah, Samantha, Rilee and Teylor.

The family will receive friends from 4:00-7:00 P.M. on Sunday, July 12 at Porter Loring Mortuary North.
