Rebecca Melissa Lozano-Jimenez

Becky was born on September 29, 1968 to Luis Rene and Janey Lozano in Falfurrias, Texas. She was raised in Premont, Texas where she went to school and moved to San Antonio. She went on to further her education and attended St. Philips College and earned her Associates degree. She became a Social Activities Director for many years. Then she obtained a job as a Juvenile Probation Officer. Her passion for serving others and children was something that she loved about her career. She had so much compassion for the kids and loved seeing the impact she made in their lives. She was loved by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Becky is preceded in death by her father, Luis Rene Lozano; her grandparents, Adolfo and Angelina Lozano and Eloy and Maria Martinez; along with aunts, uncles, and cousins. She is survived by her husband, John Jimenez of San Antonio, Texas; daughter, Kathleen Zaragoza of San Antonio, Texas; grandchildren, Izaiah, Anissa, and Isaac Zaragoza; mother, Janey Lozano of Premont, Texas; one sister, Veronica (Oscar) Gonzalez of San Antonio, TX; two brothers, Adolfo (Amy) Lozano of Alice, TX and Jorge Lozano of Premont, TX; nieces and nephews, Melayne Moreno, Oscar Tomas Gonzalez, Luis, Sebastian, and Mya Lozano.

Becky was a strong fighter and fought for many years, but she is now free of pain. Toward the end she struggled with the loss of her father, but now she has joined him for Eternity.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm, Friday, November 24, 2023, at Porter Loring Mortuary West.
