Rebecca Hernandez Moran

Rebecca Hernandez Moran, 92, went home to the Lord on June 3, 2017. Rebecca was born in San Antonio, Texas on September 13, 1924 to her parents, Juan and Eluteria Hernandez. On April 17, 1943 she married Virgilio Moran with whom she had six children. Rebecca was a strong, proud woman, a devout Catholic and a dedicated wife, mother and grandmother. She enjoyed doing crafts, shopping with family and friends and most of all she enjoyed caring for and spending time with her many family members.

She is preceded in death by her beloved husband of 49 years, Virgilio Moran and by her grandson, Marcus Moran. She is also preceded in death by two of her siblings, Juan Hernandez and Trinidad Diaz.

She is survived by her children Virgil (Michelle), Rene (Gloria), Lillian (Ashley), Elias (Elodia), Richard (Grace) and Robert (Gloria), as well as 17 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren. She is also survived by her siblings Alicia Rodriguez, Olga Montemayor, and Jesus Hernandez.

Visitation will be Wednesday June 14, 2017 from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Porter Loring on McCullough.
