

Regina Marie Stout, age 63, passed away on Saturday, February 17, 2024 in San Antonio, Texas. Born on May 1, 1960 in Beruit, Lebanon as Simone Tayeb, Regina was adopted by Thomas and Mary Allen in 1961 while stationed with the US Airforce in Izmir, Turkey. Regina grew up in St. Louis, Mo where she enlisted in the United States Army in 1978, serving until February of 1981 as a medical lab technician. Regina married the love of her life, Roy Stout in 1980. At the age of 60, Regina graduated with her Bachelor of Holistic Health Science and earned AADP Board Certification as a Holistic Practitioner while serving as a laboratory technician for the VA. She was the proud co-author of the book, Pivot your Body and Balance Your Health During a Time of Stress, writing Chapter 5 on Holistic Therapies for Veterans Struggling with PTSD. Regina took great joy in serving military veterans, befriending many and sharing their stories with family and friends. She was recently appointed as a Whole Health Coach for the VA and was looking forward to using her education to continue serving the veteran community. Regina’s greatest happiness was her grandchildren who knew her as Gigi. She never missed an opportunity to spend time with them, snuggling, playing games, going to the park and sneaking them treats.
She was preceded in death by her father, Thomas Allen. Regina is survived by her husband, Roy Stout; daughters, Morgan Stout and Elena Wells (Nathan Wells); grandchildren, Kailynn Wells, Jackson Wells and Lucas Wells; mother, Mary Allen; sisters, Elizabeth Enyart (John) and Stephanie Livonia.
