Richard Ernest Alderete, III

On Thursday, July 29, 2021, Richard “Ricky” Alderete III, beloved son and brother, passed away at the age of 38. Ricky was born April 19, 1983, to Richard Ernest Alderete II and Mary “Sky” Sexton in San Antonio, Texas. He was an adventurous soul with a laugh and smile that could bring joy to any room. He loved his family, found pleasure in athletic activities and comfort in cooking. He will be remembered for his courage in the face of difficulty and his ability to bring a smile to others. His last gift in life was to help others with his passing. His legacy will live on through those who receive their second chance and those who loved him most. Ricky is survived by his loving parents Rick and Angela Alderete, Sky Sexton, Orlando Zuniga, and Grady Sexton, his siblings Christine, Sean, Jennifer, April, Erik and Alyssa, his nephews and niece. He is remembered by his Aunts Linda, Beatrice, and Tracy as well as numerous cousins. A visitation and reception for Ricky will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., with a rosary at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 10, 2021, at Porter Loring Mortuary McCullough Georgian Chapel.
