Richard had a passion for classic cars, volleyball, trips to the casino, and his job.

He was preceded in death by his grandmothers; Sara Bonilla and Lydia Luna; grandfather, Eugene Luna; nephew. Isaiah Bonilla.

He is survived by his wife Mary Jane Bonilla; parents, Ricardo Bonilla Sr, Mary L. Bonilla; daughters, Michelle Garcia (Pablo Garcia),and Annabella Bonilla; son, Ricardo Bonilla III; granddaughters, Serenity Hernandez, Alana Briseno, and Charli Jane Garcia; grandson, Roland Quinones, and Pablo Garcia; sister Cynthia Bonilla; brothers, Tony Bonilla (Diana Bonilla), and Rudy Bonilla (Sandra Bonilla), and numerous nieces and nephews.

A visitation for Richard will be held Thursday, July 7, 2022 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Funeraria Del Angel Trevino Funeral Home, 226 Cupples Road, San Antonio, TX 78237. A rosary will occur Thursday, July 7, 2022 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM, 226 Cupples Road, San Antonio, TX 78237. A funeral mass will occur Friday, July 8, 2022 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at St. John Berchman Catholic Church, 1147 Cupples Rd., San Antonio, TX 78226.
