I worked with Rick at Freeman.  He was always cooler than cool.  Rest In Peace Rick.

Here to share a memory and send a farewell to Richard "Pogo" Ibarra.  Pogo has been a friend since elementary school at Holy Rosary, participation at Holy Family Catholic Church and  Holy Cross, Class of 1970.  We have gotten together at some of our class functions but not as many, as one would wish we should have planned, after we lose one of our own. Through the memories posted it is evident, Pogo was a man of faith.  As Christians we believe in Eternal Life in Heaven, that is where Pogo is  resting in peace with his Mom  and our classmates who preceded him.  Pogo, Vaya con Dios, rest in peace until we meet again.  






We've known Richard for decades and have shared many great times.  Our heartfelt love and condolences to the family.  He was very dear to us and we cherish the memories over the years 
 together from travel, events, and Happy Hours.  He always had a smile and was interested in everyone's stories.  Here's to you Richard with love.  Gene & Loyce

Life never prepares you for this, and it is always too soon. What do you do when the person who raised you and taught you most of what you know, was a place to go for advice and help, a place to go for encouragement, strength, your rock, is no longer there? I suppose that is why he taught me everything he did, and raised me the way he did. So I can be those things, but I will never fill those shoes.
You try to find the silver lining when life deals the unexpected, the pain and the sorrow. I wish my son’s, daughters, and his other grandchildren could have seen him in his prime. I am glad they were able to spend lots of time with him and got to know him. I will always miss him, I will always wish he was there to give me advice and guide me, but I know he will always be with me and I will always be with him. I love you Dad, and I am so happy and proud you were my father, my inspiration and motivation to succeed, and most important you showed me how to be a good man and father.


I’ve know Richard for a long time and have many wonderful memories. Richard, you will always have a special place in my heart. Wishing for healing prayers to your family and friends. 

Richard was a best friend for many years. His kindness, humor and thoughtfulness always encouraged me. The times we shared will always be treasured and bring a smile to my face. In conversations we shared I know how much his family meant to him and our thoughts are with the Ibarra family.
