Richard was a lifetime resident of San Antonio. He was a graduate of Trinity University and joined the family business, Jordan Ford, in 1969. He worked in all areas of the business. His most notable contribution to the company was the development and management of the Leasing Department. Richard was a kind father and generous friend to everyone he knew.
He is survived by his children, Laurel Jordan Swift, Richard M Jordan Jr. and Mary Jordan Dalrymple; and his grandchildren, Mary Elise, Caroline Elaine and Hannah Kathleen Grassmuck, Ian Scott and Adam James Dalrymple.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, June 29, 2011, at Porter Loring Mortuary North.
