Richard Patrick Morales, Sr.

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Richard "Riche" Morales on January 20th, 2023, in San Antonio, Texas. He was born on October 10th, 1941, in San Antonio, Texas to Esperanza and Joseph Morales.

Riche was a beloved father to his two sons, Richard Morales Jr. and James Albert Morales and a cherished brother to Adelina Mireles, Teresa Castoreno, Josephine Morales, Felix Morales, Robert Morales, Alfred Morales, Blanca Morales,Carlos Morales,Gloria Vasquez and Roger Morales. He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Irma Landrove Morales.

Riche's lifelong profession was that of a Heavy Equipment Operator. Richard served the City of San Antonio for over 25 years which he did with pride and commitment. His religious or spiritual beliefs were that of Catholicism which he practiced faithfully throughout his life.

Riche had a great sense of humor and was always quick with an anecdote or joke when the occasion called for it. He never hesitated to lend a hand to anyone in need and enjoyed nothing more than gathering with family for holidays and special occasions such as birthdays or anniversaries.

He will be dearly remembered by all who knew him for the legacy he left behind: that of unconditional love, genuine kindness, deep loyalty, unwavering faithfulness and excellent work ethic; traits that will continue to be passed down from generation to generation through his wonderful family members who survive him. May he rest in peace forevermore in the arms of our Lord God Almighty.

The family will receive friends between 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 26, 2023, at Porter Loring Mortuary.
