Richard was a graduate of Brackenridge High School, class of '59.
He served in the US Army Corps of Engineers.
He retired from City Public Service after 30 years of service.
Richard was a member of the local 500 IBEW Union, and belonged to the Siemering #32 Hermann Sons Lodge.
He is preceded in death by his brother, William Martin Stanush; his father, Ben. F. Stanush.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 44 years, Dorinda Stanush; sons, Steven Stanush and wife, Sherill, Mark Stanush and wife, Kerry; daughter, Melissa Triplett and husband, Charley, grandchildren, Tyler Stanush, Spencer Stanush, Hailey Stanush, Braden Stanush, a granddaughter due in April; mother, Sally Stanush; numerous family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jerome Catholic Church Building Fund, 7955 Real Road, Martinez, TX 78263.
