Richard Oliver Wolff went to be with the Lord at the age of 87 in San Antonio, TX. A longtime resident of San Antonio, he was born in Dallas, TX. He went on to serve his country after graduating high school. He graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a BBA where he was a member of Kappa Sigma. At UT, he served in the ROTC and was commissioned a Second Lieutenant in the 483rd Battalion Army of the Quartermaster Corps. Wolff was stationed at Ft. Hood for two years. His grandfather migrated from Germany in the 1890s to America. He was preceded in death by his parents Ludwig “Jack” Wolff and Marian Wolff. He is survived by relatives in the Dallas area: Beverly and Bret Starr, Kimberly and Greg Hinnrichs, Rosemary and John Elzbecher, Tina and Dan Roper, and Jocelyn Acker of Fort Wayne, Indiana. He will be missed by all who knew him. Mr. Wolff requests that any memorials be made to a favorite charity. Interment will be private.
