He was born December 5, 1924 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to Eric Buntrock and Esther Koerner.
He was a member of First Baptist Church Universal City and former member of Annaville, Forrest Park, and Lindale Baptist Churches of Corpus Christi, TX.
Bob is preceded in death by his wife , Doris who passed away May 22, 2004, and survived by four children, Ric, David and Stacy of San Antonio and Roger of Spokane, Washington; six grandchildren, Matthew, Joshua, Erik, Erin, Samantha, and Allison; one brother, Leonard Buntrock of Corpus Christi; and two special daughters-in-law, Sara and Pennie.
