Bob was born and raised in Athol, Massachusetts, served in the U.S. Air Force in the early 1950s, and spent most of his career as a research analyst for the Social Security Administration in Baltimore.
In his retirement, he helped clients with income tax preparation and represented persons applying for Social Security disability benefits.
Bob is survived by his beloved wife, Loretta Rose Cormier; three children, June Blair, Janine Fleming and her husband Victor, and Bob Cormier, Jr. and his wife Loraine; a sister, Joyce Cotton; and two grandchildren, Joseph Blair and Rosie Blair.
Bob was a giving, honorable man who was devoted to his family and who always thought of other people first. He will be missed by all who knew him and loved him for his warmth and wit.
