July 15, 1975- October 14, 2015
Robert N. "Triple" Corrigan III, age 40, of Corpus Christi, San Antonio, and Devine, Texas went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, October 14, 2015 in San Antonio, Texas. He was born on July 15, 1975 in Ft. Worth, Texas to Susan P. Corrigan and Robert N. Corrigan, Jr., but moved to Corpus as soon as he could.
Triple graduated from The Phelps School in Philadelphia, then graduated from the University of Incarnate Word in San Antonio, Texas with a business degree.
After graduation, Triple found himself to be successful, for a short period of time, in the commercial real estate business
He immensely enjoyed spending time with his dad outdoors salt water fishing, fresh water fly fishing, or taking part in various types of hunting. His hunting dogs were an important part of his outdoor experience.
Triple was a member of C.C.A. and Ducks Unlimited. Summers in Lake City, Colorado provided him with lots of wonderful memories.
Though the last nine year were not the best years of his life, his family felt at peace with his time at the Ramirez Personal Care Home in Devine, Texas and especially the care and friendship he shared with Shellie Moore. At the time of his passing, he had made many friends and came to be known as Dennis the Menace, as a resident of Devine, Texas.
Triple very much loved his family.
And to those who knew him, knew Triple enjoyed being helpful not only before the tragedy nine years ago but even more so afterwards. He truly loved dressing to the nines and being a gentleman.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Robert N. Corrigan, Sr. of San Antonio, Texas.; his grandmother, Barbara Porter Corrigan Thomas and her husband, S.E. Thomas of San Antonio, Texas; his maternal grandparents, John and Betty Phillips of Ft. Worth, Texas; his mother, Susan P. Corrigan of Rockport, Texas. He is survived by his father, Robert N. Corrigan Jr. of Corpus Christi, Texas; his step-mother, Karen G. Corrigan of Corpus Christi, Texas; his sister, Bradley Elizabeth Corrigan Johnson and her husband, Charles "Barron" Johnson of Austin, Texas; his nieces, Bennett and Carson of Austin, Texas; and numerous, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
