

Robert H. Deuterman, former resident of Bemidji, MN, born September 7, 1918 in Comstock, MN, died Wednesday, October 16, 2002 in San Antonio, TX. He was a parishioner of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church. He was veteran of World War II having served in the U.S. Army Air Corps from July 1941 to October 1945. Mr. Deuterman was employed as a Field Representative with the Social Security Administration for over 40 years until retirement in January 1981. He was a member of the National Association of Retired Federal Employees NARFE, the Elks Lodge, and the VFW. He is survived by his loving wife, Helen Deuterman with whom he celebrated his 56th wedding anniversary on Tuesday, October 15, 2002, as well as his daughter, Brenda Tallmon and husband, Morris; son, Michael Deuterman and wife, Kim; granddaughters, Lindsey Voeltz and Lauren Deuterman; grandson, Jason Deuterman, all of San Antonio; sister, Hazel Anderson; niece, Gail Brovold, both of Sauk Rapids, MN, and nephew, Bruce Anderson of Clemmons, NC.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to Vitas Hospice, 5430 Fredericksburg Road, Suite 200, San Antonio, TX 78229, or St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church Building Fund.
