Robert "Bob" Gadd

Mr. Robert W. Gadd, Jr, age 78 of Floresville, Texas died at his home on March 15, 2016. He was born in Atlanta, GA in 1937, moved to Houston, Texas in 1952 and resided there until moving to Floresville, Texas in 1998.

He will be greatly missed by his family and many friends. Mr. Gadd was a member of First Lutheran Church, Floresville, Texas. He was preceded in death by his infant son, Robert. W. Gadd, III; his parents, Robert W. Gadd, Sr. and Frances Virginia Brooks Gadd; his sister, Evelyn Gadd Durden; and brother, Bill Gadd. Survivors include his loving wife of 56 years, Sylvia Killebrew Gadd; son, Robert Andrew Gadd, South Houston, Texas; daughter, Jennifer Gadd and son-in-law David Nelson; granddaughters, Rachel Gadd-Nelson and Margaret Gadd-Nelson, Kansas City, Kansas; brother and sister-in-law, Emory and Susan Gadd of Houston, Texas; brother-in-law, Walter Durden, Kennesaw, Georgia; sister-in-law, Sylvia Gant Gadd of Houston, Texas; sister-in-law, Linda Killebrew Arnold and husband, Bob of Magnolia, Texas; aunt, Mrs. Ann Daniels of Atlanta, Georgia; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be on April 22, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at First Lutheran Church, Floresville, Texas with the Reverend John Conrad, officiating. A reception will be hosted in the Parrish Hall ("Annex") immediately following the service.

Graveside services will be on April 23, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at Forest Park East Cemetery, Houston, Texas with the Reverend Emory Gadd, officiating.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the First Lutheran Church Ethiopian Seminarian Fund.
