

He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Carolina Villanueva Hahn, sons, Steven Robert Hahn, Bruce Allan Hahn and Glenn Ray Hahn [Adriana], grand-children Marissa and Ian Hahn and great-granddaughter, Samantha Vasquez. His sister, Judie Smith, also survives him as well as the Villanueva family which is too numerous to list. They all loved this very special man.
Robert was an Air Force veteran who flew 26 combat missions in the Korean War. He earned a Bachelors of Science degree in Engineering from the University of Texas, class of 1959. With this degree, he provided for his family. Bob worked 25 years as City of San Antonio Streets and Drainage Department Engineer and also 20 years with Pape-Dawson Engineers. In the following years, he was an independent Engineering consultant with his own software company, Hahn Haus. He was a member of the Texas Society of Professional Engineers, National Society of Professional Engineers, American Society of Civil Engineers and American Water Resources Association.
In his spare time, he gained a reputation as an excellent fisherman. He enjoyed spending time with grandchildren and great grand-daughter.
Visitation at 5:00 p.m. Sunday April 8 will be followed by a prayer service at 6:00 p.m.
at Porter Loring on McCullough.
Graveside service - Monday, April 9th 9:15 a.m. at Fort Sam Houston.
