Dr Horvath was a dedicated doctor who cared for each of his patients like they were family. 
His kindness was always displayed to me when I was going through some difficult times with the loss of my family members. 
He will be greatly missed!

When my wife and I moved to San Antonio, "Doc" was one of the first people we got to know. He was always in good spirits and a pleasure to be around. Through the Longhorn Region of the Porsche Club of America, we spent many years appreciating his humor and wit.

Robert,you were someone I considered to be a close friend. We had some good times over the past years and you will be sorely missed. We talked of many things and I learned a great deal from you. Our conversations have been cut off too soon.

He was the most knowledgeable man I ever knew and will be missed, rest in peace.

Bob and Joyce, I know this is a difficult time for both of you and that you've lost a great friend. Please know that you are in my thoughts and prayers as is Dr. Horvath. He made a very positive impression on me and I am very proud to have called him a friend. His legacy lives on in a number of significant ways, many of which are in the form of those he has touched and helped shape their destiny. My nephew ,Nicolaus is a living example of this, as his choice of a medical career and his new residency in San Antonio are a direct result of Doctor Horvath's influence. Dr. Horvath will be greatly missed by my family and myself. I have been a patient with him for many years.It was more of a family relationship than a physician-patient. He will be greatly missed.

I have missed having my appointments since last fall and the great conversations on everything and anything. And seeing Joyce. And those who went before her at the M&S Bldg. Dr Horvath had an instinct for what may be wrong, and invariably he was correct. It is a terrible thing to lose a doctor younger than yourself! It is almost like losing a child---not fair somehow. My condolences to the family and staff who were like family.

...Bob was a constant, reliable medical assoiciate for many of us at the Baptist Medical Center hospital for many years. For those of us working in the ER, Bob never refused a patient referral, and often came in late to see a critical patient. He was kind and gentle to all who worked with him, to his patients who were often very difficult, and a very good physician. The SA medcial community is weaker today due to Bob's passing. We will miss him. God's speed, Bob...Jim...

Bob my thoughts and prayers are with you. I know that you are at peace and are with your parents and my dad. I will always remember how you opened up your home to my family when we came to Texas to visit, and will always be grateful that your were my cousin and in my life. I will always remember the last time that I talked with you. My parents loved you very much.
