Robert is survived by his loving mother, Gloria, and sisters, Wanda and Patty. His heart found its truest companion in Sigrid, his devoted wife of 15 years. Together, they built a life filled with shared moments, overcoming challenges, and nurturing a bond that stood the test of time.
The early years of Robert's life were spent in San Francisco, where he moved at the tender age of 5. Raised in a tight-knit community, Robert served as an altar boy and developed a deep connection with his grandmother. Known for his charismatic charm, he was a true ladies' man who embraced life with an infectious sense of fun.
Everything changed when he met Sigrid, the love of his life. Their union brought about a transformative chapter, grounding Robert in a newfound sense of purpose and commitment. In his retirement years, Robert discovered joy in the simple act of cooking for Sigrid, a labor of love that reflected the depth of their connection.
Having spent several years working at the City of San Mateo Water Treatment Plant, Robert dedicated himself to ensuring the well-being of his community. His commitment and hard work were unwavering, earning him the respect and admiration of colleagues and friends alike.

Upon retiring, Robert and Sigrid chose to settle in San Antonio, the city that held a special place in Robert's heart, allowing them to savor the familiarity of his hometown. The couple found solace in their shared love for vacationing in Hawaii, where Robert delighted in watching Sigrid swim, always with a watchful eye to ensure her safety.
In addition to his immediate family, Robert took on a fond relationship with Sigrid's daughter, Julianna, and her son, Travis. He embraced them as his own, creating a blended family filled with love and shared experiences.
