Robert Morton, 56, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, March 14, 2024 while on a work trip in Anaheim, California. He lived in San Antonio, Texas where he leaves behind his wife of 35 years, Francoise Morton (Franki); his three daughters, Taylor, Madison, and Kayleigh; and mother, Susan Marquez.
Rob was born on January 24, 1968 in San Antonio, Texas and was raised by a strong, single mom. They trekked to California, where they settled down for several years of Rob’s childhood, before eventually moving back to San Antonio to aid a sick aunt.
Rob graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree from UTSA in 1995 and got married soon thereafter. He began his career at Sun Harvest, before moving up the ladder at Wild Oats, and finally at HEB, as the Director of the Healthy Living department. All these years in the health food industry have made Rob incredibly well renowned and revered, we have come to find out.
Rob also enjoyed several different hobbies that defined who he was as a person outside of work. He loved music (even though his electric guitar made quite the ruckus in the house), going to the beach, but without a doubt, his favorite pastime was visiting Disney World. That was his reward for all the hard work he put in and loved getting the family all together for this.
The Morton family expresses many thanks to everybody who loved Rob and who helped them in this time of need. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to your favorite charity.
