

Colonel Robert Clayton Moseley, United States Air Force (Retired), passed away at his San Antonio, Texas home on October 13, 2022. He was 94 years old. Robert Moseley was born on November 19, 1927 in Warren, Arkansas to Lawrence E. Moseley and Conie (Parker) Moseley. He had two brothers and one sister (all deceased). In 1950, he married Ruth Louise (Mullins). Together, they raised six children and later welcomed three grandchildren. After graduating from Warren High School, he obtained a BA in Business Administration from the University of Arkansas where he was a member of the Kappa Sigma Fraternity, Xi Chapter. Later in life he obtained an MA in Education from Trinity University.Robert Moseley enlisted in the United States Air Force (USAF) in 1950 and attended Officer Candidate School and was subsequently commissioned. He served primarily in the USAF Security Service with assignments to include Germany, Texas and Hawaii. Following his retirement from the USAF in 1971 he worked for the San Antonio College District as an instructor on Kelly Air Force Base for many years.Robert Moseley was a lifelong golfer who also loved playing poker and pool. He will be fondly remembered as an excellent cook who enjoyed preparing southern style meals for his family and friends. He is survived by his children, Deborah (Sean) Fitzgerald, James Moseley, Chris Moseley, David Moseley and Mary (Brian) Frashier, and his grandchildren Sean B. Fitzgerald, Thomas Frashier and Daniel (Leah) Frashier. His wife, Ruth and daughter, Robin Moseley preceded him in death in 2007 and 2017, respectively.
