

Born November 23, 1929 on Staten Island, New York to mother Marion Curry and father Charles Muller. His mother died Deceber 23, 1929. Robert was raised by his father and step-mother Edith Ball Muller, both now deceased. Married devoted wife, Marie in 1954 at Sacred Heart Church on Staten Island. Bob was an outstanding husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, friend, and son. He attended the University of Dayton on a football scholarship. Bob graduated from Polytechnic Insititute of Brooklyn with BCE and attended the University of Santa Clara MBA program while living in California. He proudly served his country in the US Army during the Korean War on assignment to the Central Intelligence Agency. Bob worked 4 years for Ammann & Whitney, Consulting Engineers in New York City on world class highway and bridge projects. He then worked 34 years with Shell Oil Company. During his working career he was an active member of The Society of Automotive Engineers, National Lubricating Grease Institute, New York City coordinating Research Council and Consultant to the Department of Defense on jet fuel matters. Bob was an avid golfer and tennis player most of his adult life and was City of Houston Senior division racquet ball champion. In retirement, he became a Director of water board district in Houston, Texas, member of the Board of Governors of the Houston Golf Association, Fundraiser for the YMCA and finance chairman for St. Ignatius Loyola Church in Houston. Currently a member of St. Francis of Assisi in San Antonio and a member of the Knights of Columbus Council 15240. He was a member of the Club at Sonterra for many years. Bob is preceded by his parents, his much loved wife, Marie who passed away January 31, 2011, his brother, Dick Muller, and his son-in-law, Gary Baird. He is survived by his children, heart specialist, Dr. Jeanie Muller and her husband, Tony Cappello, Joann Baird, and Robert John Muller; grandchildren: Kathryn Owens and her husband, Steven and Elizabeth Iconomopulos; and his great grandson, Zaid Owens. Bob is also survived by his sister, Edith Waugh Feliciano.
