

Robert Louis Perreault, Castroville, TX, received his flight orders for his final mission on Friday, September 19, 2014 after a wonderful life filled with love and laughter. His family and friends will gather to celebrate that life on Monday, September 29, 2014 at Sunset Northwest Funeral Home, with visitation beginning at 11:00 a.m. and funeral services at 12 noon. Interment will follow at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery at 1:45 p.m.
A U.S. Air Force veteran, Bob, spent 43 years keeping the nation’s aircraft flying as an aircraft mechanic and flight engineer. He joined the service on January 18th on his 17th birthday and retired on January 18th on his 60th birthday as a Master Sergeant from the famed 433rd Alamo Wing at Lackland Air Force Base, Texas.
Born on January 18, 1938 to Ruth Moran and Louis Perreault in Danielson, Connecticut, he was married to Diane Martinez Perreault. He is survived by daughters, Linda Costa and Brenda Peyton; stepchildren George Garza, Debbie Garza, Denise Cutrer and Cindy Taylor; seven grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
