Robert K. Rainey, age 79, passed away on Sunday, January 23, 2022 in San Antonio, Texas. He was born on January 25, 1942 in Malcolm, Iowa to Harold T. Rainey and Evelyn Tabbott. Robert proudly served in the United States Marine Corps. He later worked for the Union Pacific Railroad and was also a truck driver.
He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Brock Duane Rainey; sister, Sheryl Smith; brother, Larry Rainey and grandson, Nicholas Cole Rainey. Robert is survived by his son, Eric Keith Rainey and his wife Sarah; sister, Karen Haines and her husband Edward, grandsons, Alexander Keith Rainey and Damian Rainey and his wife Robin; and great grandchildren, Reece Rainey and Brooklyn Rainey.
In lieu of any services, the family requests the most fitting tribute to Robert would be to toast him with a beer!
