He was born January 25, 1952, at Baptist Memorial of San Antonio. He graduated from Iraan High School in West Texas, Class of 1970.
He was predeceased by his loving wife, Linda Fisher Scallorn; father, Robert Lee Scallorn and mother, Jessie Robertson Brissette.
He is survived by his son, Robert Thad Reese; stepsons, Ryan Reese, Marty Owens and his wife, Erica and their son Jack; stepdaughter, Melissa Owens Juenke and her husband, Glenn; uncle, Martin Robertson; aunts, Gladys Cornmon, and Eudora Hawkins; step-father, Leonard "Al" Brissette and many beloved friends.
He was an experienced outdoorsman who loved adventure, especially scuba diving and fishing. He mostly enjoyed his adventures surrounded by family and close friends.
Even though he loved travel, he was a true Texan and proud of it. He had never met a stranger, and was a loving son, husband, father, grandfather and friend. He will be greatly missed.
