Rodolfo Villanueva, Jr.

Mr. Rodolfo Villanueva, Jr. age 70, passed away on Saturday, August 26 2017 in San Antonio, Texas. He was born November 16, 1946 in San Antonio. He was a loving and a caring brother and friend to everyone. He never met a stranger. He was very outgoing and enjoyed his workshop where he was very good working with wood. He also had a passion for photography which he enjoyed in his spare time.

In 1967 Rodolfo graduated from South San High School. After graduation, he joined the military where he proudly served his county in the United States Marine Corps during the Vietnam War. Completing his tour of duty, Rodolfo joined the US Air Force Reserve and later retired as an aircraft mechanic from Randolph Air Force Base.

Rodolfo was preceded in death by his parents, Rodolfo Sr. and Mary Lopez Villanueva. He is survived by his siblings, Amelia Villanueva, Leonor Villanueva, Rene Villanueva, Gloria Rangel and husband David, Norma Villanueva and Mary Ann Villanueva; numerous nieces, nephew and many, many friends.

Visitation will be Tuesday, August 29th and Wednesday 30th from 10:00 am to 7:00 pm at Porter Loring Mortuary, 1101 McCullough Ave.

Graveside Service will be Thursday, August 31, 2017, 9:30 am at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery, 1520 Harry Wurzbach Rd. with military honors.
