On Monday, February 22, 2016, God's heavenly angels and saints rejoiced and welcomed home our precious Roger Nate Regalado. He was born July 20, 1976 and was raised in San Antonio, Texas. At age 39, Roger passed in his sleep at his home.
Roger was a high school graduate of Jefferson High School class of 1994. His laugh and smile would light up a room. He had a silliness about him and a care free spirit. He could cook the most delicious meals and his creatively would shine through his cooking. He loved to fish, hunt, and the simple joys of being outdoors. He had a strong love of Jesus Christ, his God and savior. He recounted personal miracles and believed in divine intervention.
On September 5, 1976 he was baptized in the name of The Father and of The Son and of The Holy Spirit. Through Baptism he was freed from sin and reborn as a child of God becoming a member of Christ incorporated into the Universal Roman Catholic church. On March 30, 1985 he received the First Sacrament of Reconciliation and on May 18, 1985, he received for the first time the most sacred Body and Blood of Our Lord Jesus Christ. On August 4, 1992, he reaffirmed his Christian Roman Catholic faith by the gift of the Holy Spirit. On February 22, 2016, his mortal body, Temple of the Holy Spirit was called to rest and his soul was called to eternal life in union with God, Our Lord Jesus Christ.
He is survived by his parents Nancy & Natividad Regalado; siblings Ruben Regalado, Laura Regalado Ortega; niece Vaden Regalado Perez; uncles Gilberto Regalado, Teodoro Hernandez; aunts Felis Torres, Mary Garza, Frances Alcala; and survived by numerous cousins, other relatives, and friends.
The family wishes to acknowledge with deep appreciation the many expressions of love and kindness shown to them before, during, and after the passing of their loved one.
In lieu of flowers the family requests a donation to be made for a mass intention in thanksgiving for the life of Roger Nate Regalado at any Roman Catholic Church or a donation to be made in honor of Roger Nate Regalado to the restoration project of Little Flower Basilica: this can be done through http://littleflowerbasilica.org/106
