Roland Heinz Simms entered in to eternal rest on July 21, 2015 at the age of 71 in San Antonio, Texas. He was born to Sigmund and Therese Simms on April 21, 1944 in Bamberg, Germany. He is preceded by his parents. Roland will be survived by his wife Annerose Simms, daughter; Caroline Garcia and Christina Farrow, granddaughter Kaleigh Simms, son Gilbert Garcia, and dog Bella and JoJo. A funeral mass will be held on Wednesday, July 29 at Our Lady of Guadalupe in Helotes at 11:00 a.m. followed by a committal service at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery with military honors.
