Known to family and friends as "Ron" or "The Chief", he was born 3 August 1930 in Minneapolis, MN to Loni and Jack Berg.
"The Chief" had illustrious careers in the U.S. Air Force, Civil Service and with Thomas Instruments Company that spanned many decades.
He was preceded in death by his brothers, Jack Martin Berg and Thomas Berg as well as his sister, Julienne DeGrazier.
"Ron" leaves behind his wife of 56 years, Teresa; son, Robert; daughter, Laura; grandson, Nicholas Ronald; granddaughters, Nicole Teresa Cobb and Amanda Erin Berg; great grandson, Hunter William Cobb; sisters Marguerite Sipe and Lonia Mae Brisson; nieces, Connie, Kevin, Randy, Tawny, Roxanne and Diane; nephews, Brian, Mark, Lance, Tony, Paul, Tommy, Greg, Dan and Jason; special long time friends, Father Tom Murphy and Louis Scherlen; and his beloved pets, Sweetums and Holly.
