Rosa R. Cantu

Rosa Ramos Cantu passed away on Saturday, October 9, 2021 at the age of 77. Born on June 5, 1944, she is preceded in death by her parents, Agapito Ramos and Maria Isabel Gomez Ramos; her son, Fred Cantu Jr.; and her siblings, Jane Cruz and Livorio Ramos.

Rosa is survived by her beloved husband, Fred Cantu; her daughter, Melinda (Bernadino); her grandchildren, Bernadino Jr., Alfred, Mike, James and Matthew; her siblings, Carmen, Cora, Irene and Petra; and her extended family and friends who loved her and will miss her greatly.

Due to restrictions on public gatherings, the Visitation at Funeraria del Angel Trevino – 226 Cupples Road 78237 – will be limited to 50 people in the building at a time.

The family will be receiving friends on Thursday, October 21, from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM, with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 PM. On Friday, October 22, a Funeral Procession will depart at 8:30 AM and arrive at St. Leo the Great Catholic Church – 4415 South Flores Street 78214 – for a Mass at 9:00 AM. Burial will follow at San Fernando Cemetery III – 1735 Cupples Road 78226.
