Rosa Fernandez

Rosa Fernandez, age 82, passed away on Monday, July 4, 2022, in San Antonio, TX. Rosa was born August 8, 1939, in San Antonio, TX, to Xochitl Cueva and Felipe Fernandez. Rosa graduated from Trinity University and after graduation, she worked as a Registered Medical Technologist in several area hospitals and retired from Diabetes & Glandular Disease Clinic.

Rosa enjoyed working in her yard in her younger years but later spent several mornings tending to her steak tomatoes. If she had to name her favorite past time, I am pretty sure she would say watching the shopping network or reading palms. Rosa was great at captivating her family members when it came to storytelling and reading palms at family events and parties. Rosa also loved her side kick of many years, her beloved dog, Rocky whom she took everywhere with her. She also was a collector of paintings, ceramic pigs and nativity sets from all over the world.

She was preceded in death by her parents. Rosa is survived by numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews. Rosa will be missed by all who know her.
