

Rosa was born on August 2, 1939, in New Laredo, Texas, the daughter of Emma Torres and Daniel Lerma. Growing up, Rosa embodied resilience and compassion, traits that would define her remarkable life.
Throughout her journey, Rosa's unwavering devotion to her family and the Lord shone brightly. Her home was a haven of love, laughter, and cherished memories, where the aroma of her cooking filled every corner and welcomed all who entered.
She dedicated herself wholeheartedly to raising her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, sharing not only her life struggles but also her wisdom, love, and home-cooked meals. Rosa's kitchen was the heart of her home, where she nurtured not only their bodies but also their spirits.
Rosa's spirit was as vibrant as her laughter, and her presence illuminated the lives of all who knew her. She found solace and strength in her faith, guiding her through life's challenges with grace and unwavering trust in the Lord.
Her legacy of kindness, faith, generosity, and her signature feistiness will live on in the hearts of her family, who were her greatest pride and joy.
A celebration of Rosa's life will be held on February 6, 2024, at 6:00 PM, at Funeraria Del Angel Trevino Funeral Home, where family and friends will gather to honor her memory and share stories of love and remembrance.
