

Rosalyn married Brian R. Bowers on February 7, 2009. They lived in Austin, but spent considerable time in Colorado, "at the ranch,", and traveling.
She graduated from Alamo Heights High School and Texas Christian University, where she was a member of the Kappa Kappa Gamma sorority. After college, she lived in Mexico, studying, and teaching art and English. She is a descendent of early Texas settlers dating back to 1822.
She had many loves, including travel, design, music, and entertaining. Her greatest love was teaching art to children. With her loving personality, Rosalyn was like a magnet to many, both young and old.
She is survived by her husband, Brian; her parents Richard L & Nancy Dugger of San Antonio; her sister, Elaina Dugger-Taylor, her husband, Paul Taylor, and their son Henry Samuel Taylor; her brother, William Richard Dugger; and her grandmother, Elaruth Ashton Dugger. Other relations include her in-laws, Russell & Ryn Bowers; her brother-in-law, Barton Bowers; and many uncles, aunts and cousins. She was also the godmother to several friends' children.
Rosalyn was always the center of activity among her friends, and those she loved were always foremost in her mind. Rosalyn will not be forgotten. Her love for her friends and family will be cherished by those she has left behind.

Memorial services will be held on Thursday, January 19, 2017 at 2:00 pm at Laurel Heights United Methodist Church, 227 W Woodlawn in San Antonio.
Interment will be a private ceremony on Friday morning, January 20, 2017.
