Lindy was a huge part of the Loma Parkers. We all grew up together.  We had so much fun playing in the street. Tag, Red Rover,, Jacks, HopScotch, ran races, stick ball, roller skating, rode bikes. Lindy and I worked at the Air Force Information Operations Center.  She was so kind, giving, big hearted, great listener, and such a happy soul.  She always had a kind word, and would always make you look at the bright side of whatever was going on with you.   I will miss all our crazy moments; and will miss my golf cart buddy too.  Rest in Peace my dear friend.  You will never be forgotten.

 To Dolores:  I know you must be in pieces.  You are such a sweetie.  You are a treasured friend.  My heart feels the tears of yours.  For you, all Lindy's friends, and her family: a poem I wrote a while back for a friend who lost another close friend.

   My Special Friend

     I say hello, my special friend,

     and say our friendship is not at end.

       The laughs we shared still fill the air

          remember them, do not despair.

    The times we shared are memories dear

         I felt so good when we were near.

             You say goodbye so I may go

             I surely hear you, but I say " no ".

          I have not left you, I am not gone

       I will be with you always, like a song.

  When life is a torment, despite your pleas

           walk outside, I am in that breeze.

       I am in the sun that shines so bright,

     I shine down on you to make things right.

Lindy, you are such a sweetie and you will be dearly missed.  It has been awhile since I first bumped into you at Kelly.  It was through my old front door neighbor, Dolores, that we crossed paths.  She and her bunch and me and my " wild bunch ".  Trips to Garner, city parks, parties, and dances.  I remember your squeal, " Roger !, Ruben !, Tommy !, or Richard ! ", then combined laughter when one of us pulled a prank on you, one of the other girls, or each other.  It was fun and some of my best memories.  Going through your posted photos I see you continued and shared your love of the outdoors.  May God keep you.




   To Gabriel, Lindy's children, grandchildren, siblings, and other family:  My deepest condolences on your loss.  What a dear loss it is.  May God carry you through this troubled time.




 

Lindy and I worked together at the Air Force Information Warfare  Center.  She was the kindest, most joyful and generous person I know.  And most importantly, a dear friend who will be greatly missed.  I am blessed to have had her as a friend.  Lindy, my dear friend, will forever be in my heart.❤️

Prayers for Lindy, her loved one's and entire family.  Fondest memories  are of all The Walker Family especially Debbie and Lindy who are now together in Heaven.  Both of them from Holy Rosary, Holy Family, Providence and Friends of Holy Cross.  Deepest condolences to all her family especially her brothers Russell and Bubba and of course her husband Gabe  my teammate during our playing days for Little Flower Pop Warner . It's so sad,  we look forward to visiting with her family for spiritual support  and to celebrate her  life  but during these trying times things are very different. The Walker family lived across the street from our family on Loma Park Dr.  They lived on the corner on the 200 block.  We lived at the second house across the street.  My sister Alma was best friends with Debbie.  The picture I'm sharing is from sister's 7th birthday February 1960.  Debbie and Alma are standing together in front of my mom Celia.  The little girl in the stroller is my sister Irma.  Next to Irma is Kathy.  Lindy is the second girl after Kathy to her right.  It was the best of times growing up in Loma Park.  I was fortunate to attend Lindy's 60th birthday celebration in 2014.  The lady I was going with at the time was a good friend of Lindy.  That's how I  got to go.  I met Lindy's uncle Charles Neira and found out that my  fellow parishioner from Holy Name, Rene Neira, was also an uncle and brother to Belia.

Lindy was such a kind affectionate person.  She accepted us as family.   It was always so easy to be in her presence as she made sure that everyone was made to feel included.   We will miss her and pray that her family can overcome this great loss.  Remembering that we will see her again in the resurrection when death will be no more.  Revelation 21:3,4

Lindy had the most vibrant personality.  She was loved by all and always went out of her way to greet you, make you comfortable and always wore a beautiful smile. She was a gem of a woman. She will be greatly missed.

I didn't know Lindy well. We mostly talked when I got a "golden ticket" which happened a LOT. All I know is that she was always very supportive, even when she was enjoying a day off and I needed last second help on a TDY. She was always kind and she had impeccable style; like a dependable and hip office Mom. I'm really going to miss her. 

Wishing Lindy's family as much peace as possible during this difficult time.  I met Lindy when I started working in the 90th. We became friends fast and shared many fun times over the last 9 years. I enjoyed all her funny stories and hearing all about her beloved grandkids.  Her friendship was a blessing and she will be truly missed.

I lived on Loma Park two houses from the Walkers my best memories I have about the Walkers is when we would hang out in the street and play Debbie Lindy and Russell would also come out the girls didn’t mind hanging out with the guys because they new we wouldn’t let any guys hit on them Lindy you will be missed my many

I had the distinct pleasure of serving with Lindy for 3 years as the Squadron Director of the 90 Information Operations Squadron at Lackland AFB.  Prayers and Gods blessing to the Lozano’s family.  

My thoughts and prayers are with you all. So sorry for your loss. She is truly going to be missed.

I call her Miss Lindy. I’ve worked with her  since 2013 and she’s always there ready to help, anytime.  Ms Lindy ensured that whatever is needed was taken care of. Even during her time off, she calls to follow -up , making sure everything was in order. 

I am very fortunate to have worked with Ms Lindy. Her smile, positive attitude,  and dedication is a great example to anyone that knew her.
