Roselle Mencio Huff

Roselle lived a life of creativity, independence, and passion. Known for her bold, unconventional projects, she designed her split-level home and crafted everything from a life-size shadow box to a hand-painted shower curtain. Her greeting card-covered hallway, full-size carousel rocking horse, and nutcracker collection will be remembered by generations for her unique style.

Roselle believed she could do anything and passed that strength and independence on to her daughters. She had a more extensive power tool collection than most handymen, and she knew how to use them. She loved puzzles, crafts and games, especially when she won!

She is survived by her husband, Mark Stanley Huff; her daughters, Lynda Rose Tussay, Cynthia Rose Egan, Tina Tussay Cooper, and Pierrette Leigh Tyson; stepchildren, Christina Hanna and James Hall; nine grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, and many friends.

Roselle’s life was a testament to living true to herself, channeling her creative style, and facing every challenge head-on. She will be deeply missed and forever celebrated.

A visitation for Roselle will be held Sunday, September 22, 2024, at 10:00 AM with a Celebration of Life of being recited for Mrs. Roselle Huff at 10:30 AM with a reception to follow at Sunset Funeral Home 1701 Austin Hwy San Antonio, Texas. The graveside service will be the following Monday, September 23, 2024, at 10:30 AM, at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery, 1520 Harry Wurzbach San Antonio, Texas.
