She was born on November 11, 1952, in New Braunfels, Texas, to Jose and Rufina Diaz.
Mrs. Martinez was preceded in death by her parents; her brothers, Richard, Pete, Johnny, Eddie and Rudy Diaz. She is survived by her loving husband, Tiofilo of 34 years; her daughters Rachel McClain and husband Charles, Rosie A. Mendez and husband Rick; Son, William Martinez; five granddaughters, Victoria, Elizabeth and Sarina McClain, and Alyssa and Juliana Mendez; two brothers and four sisters.
