He was preceded in death by his wife of 43 years, Lucille Comer; sister, Dorothy Ledbetter; brother-in-law, Morris Ledbetter; niece, Talou Cain; grandnephew, Chris Cain; brother-in-law, James J. Pytel, Jr., and granddaughter-in-law, Michelle Meade.
Roy is survived by his daughters, Birdie Archer (William), Elizabeth Jacobs (Richard L.); grandson, Jeffrey Meade (Victoria); granddaughter, Michelle Oldham (Dean); grandson, Rich Jacobs (Leigh Ann); great grandsons, Max Meade, Bobby Oldham, and Richard Oldham (Jacqui); great granddaughter, Isabella Grace Jacobs; and sister-in-law, Ella Grace Pytel.
