Roy was born in Charlotte, Texas to Joseph and Louis Eve on December 11th, 1932. He went to school at Somerset High School. He married Ethel Jane Eve on June 5th, 1960, in San Antonio. He worked and retired as a Postal Service employee of thirty-six years. He served in the Air Force and Navy Reserves. He was also a member of the masonic lodge.
Roy is preceded in death by his parents Joseph and Lois Eve and his sister Betty Boyett.
Roy is survived by his spouse Ethel Jane Eve, children: Roger Eve and Richard Eve and wife Jody Eve and numerous nieces and nephews.
A visitation for Roy will be held Wednesday, April 9, 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Sunset Funeral Home, 1701 Austin Highway, San Antonio, Texas 78218. A funeral service will occur Thursday, April 10, 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM, 1701 Austin Highway, San Antonio, Texas 78218. A graveside service will occur Thursday, April 10, 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Sunset Memorial Park, 1701 Austin Highway, San Antonio, Texas 78218.
