Roy D. Patterson, age 77, of San Antonio, died Tuesday, August 14, 2001. He graduated from the University of Alabama School of Engineering, Tau Beta Pi. Mr. Patterson was a member of Trinity Baptist Church and retired from ARCO Oil and Gas Co. after 40 years of service. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Roy D. Katherine Patterson; sons, John C. Patterson and wife, Sue, Owasso, OK, David Earl Patterson and wife, Cynthia, Ventura, CA; daughter, Mrs. Julie Ann Owens and husband, David, San Antonio; sister, Zettie Ella Tidwell, Madison, AL; 8 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren.
