

He attended Tech high school class of 1946. At a very young age, he proudly served his country in the U.S. Marine Corps between the years of 19471950 traveling to many parts of the world including: China, Guam, Canada and Hawaii.
He and his loving wife, Irma, were married for 56 wonderful years.
Ruben always placed his family first above all things in his life and was known by his infectious smile and endearing sense of humor.
He is preceded in death by his parents and is survived by his adored wife, Irma Estrada, their three devoted sons and their respective spouses: Ruben A. and Leticia Estrada; Ernest S. and Debbie Estrada; Roger A. Estrada and Patrick Bynum; grandchildren: Ruben C., Alejandro A., Erica N., and Lauren E. Estrada; half sister, Mary Lou and Joe Aranda; brother-in-law, Hector R. and Maria Elena Melendez; numerous nieces, nephews, other family members and many wonderful friends.
He will always be remembered as a gentle, patient and kind man and his family will never forget the profound impressions he has made on each of their lives. ~ He lives forever in our hearts.
